Ketamine Treatment

If you’re struggling with symptoms of anxiety, depression, or burnout ketamine therapy may offer a solution. Explore the possibilities to improved mental health and embark on a journey towards wellness.

Your initial mental health assessment includes a detailed intake form and a consultation with one of our experienced physicians to assess your mental health status, recommendations for non-pharmacological therapies, and suitability and safety of ketamine therapy. If ketamine therapy is prescribed, the typical length ranges from four to six treatments spaced one week apart before reassessment.

We use sublingual ketamine, administered under the tongue as a dissolvable tab, as a safe and well-tolerated approach to ketamine treatment. Contrary to common misconceptions, this method is far from intimidating. It allows for a controlled and gradual absorption of the medication, minimizing the potential for adverse effects.

The sublingual route offers a more gentle onset, making the experience more comfortable for individuals seeking therapeutic benefits without the apprehension often associated with other administration methods. Furthermore, the dosage can be carefully calibrated to ensure a precise and personalized treatment, enhancing both the safety and efficacy of the ketamine experience.

Each session starts with ten minutes of grounding where patients relax under a weighted blanket and focus on their intentions for their treatment.

An eye mask and noise cancelling headphones are provided. A sound track providing Nu Calm plays in the background to help your brain waves focus to a state nearing relaxed meditation.

Each ketamine session is slightly different, but typically lasts an hour. Initial sessions are scheduled for two hours to ensure patients never feel rushed.

Typical duration is a minimum of four to six treatment to assess for improvement.

Our treatment approach centres on cultivating an inviting and secure experience that nurtures an environment for optimal brain health, while allowing our patients to feel supported and in control.

We frequently incorporate evidence-based supplements like vitamin D, B vitamins, and omega-3s to fortify a supportive environment for neuroplastic changes.

While our program initially focuses on the brain, we acknowledge the importance of the mind-body connection. Following the initial therapy, we explore other essential aspects of mental health, such as hormone balance and gut health, alongside lifestyle factors. This holistic strategy enables us to design a truly personalized mental health program that considers the complete well-being of the individual.
